Long Live the Doggie

According to this website Doggie Diner used to be a drive-in restaurant. I just remember it as the place that made my life whole. As a child my mother used to take me there where she would buy me the best hot dog known to mankind. At lest that's how it felt to my little taste buds. All the Doggie Diners are gone now and the one we went to on 19th Ave. in San Francisco has been long gone but this head of the Doggie remains as a landmark at the corner of Sloat and 45th across the street from the zoo in San Francisco where it stands alone high in the sky.
